Great rendition. I don't want to even classify it as a music video. It's more an interpretive short film. The actress' face is hauntingly expressive and some of your imagery reminds me of charcoal studies of Ferdinand Leger. Masterful. I hope you're a filmmaker...

Nick Drake has the voice of a tormented angel. Love the visuals, they add to the song but do not distract from the songs pure beauty, Drake is missed.

An amazing song that for me gives a peek into another enchanted world, where it is always Summer. "..tell him about the plan for lilac time.." Brings tears to my eyes, especially when you understand the circumstances of his death. The actress in the video is Gabrielle Drake, his sister. She played the part of Gay Ellis in UFO.

indeed. every song on every album is fantastic. There is no filler. Then go and get the demos and private recordings that he made. These include "Black Eyed Dog" and Robin Fredereck's "Been Smoking To Long". As the Diamond says don't go back, just buy them all in one boxed set.

nick wasnt out to get famous so that wouldnt have had anything to do with his suicide...he was just depressed in general, sure he was dissapointed he didnt become musically popular...but it wasnt nessicarily about fame for him , there were many other reasons that he commited suicide, mental illness...drugs...the inability to become succesful, all factors in his suicide. what a tradgic loss
