I arrive in Miami Beach from Detroit, and Malinda arrives from Arizona. We wake up in the sunshine and head out on the beach for a bite to eat. Counting down the hours we walk over to where the party I am playing that night is happening, which is the Sagamore Hotel. Anytime there is a crazy night
in the works, I often like to walk the so called "battlefield" a few hours before, just get the lay of the land.
