Ok.. I'm from London, so I'm not completely familiar with school shootings, but its tru that most gang related crime is black on black. But its also true that most serial killers are white, almost all school shootings/workplace massacres are by white guys. My view? Ban guns u idiots! We mite get violent crime here too, but at least we can run away from the fuckers with knives!

my friend i dont live in london so i cant speak to that but in america whites are most often the victims and offenders in gang related violence. beleive it or not. by the way,i'm not just blowing hot air. if you go to the department of justice website and search "homicide trends and race" you will find a report that proves this to be true. the report covers homicide victims and offenders races over the last 30 years.

also i live in washington DC which has one of the highest violence rates in the world. there has been a gun ban here for the last 15 years so i know banning guns makes it so only criminals have them

Maybe because there are neighbouring states in which guns can be legally purchased. Banning guns in a single state won't fix a national problem. The UK has a far lower gun crime rate than the US, which must have something to do with the difference in gun laws, although it's likely there are other factors.

You were right about the statistics, I retract the gang related crime comment - in which case the "gangbanger" sterotype must stem from popular entertainment. Hip hop might not affect gun culture per se, but it still cements the stereotypes.
