This is a better version of the one I have on YouTube under the name "Going Gay for Favre". This is only about the 4th time I've ever done the joke on stage. I love it, but it really only has regional interest and I often run into people with either issues with Favre himself or with the fact that I say that I would be willing to go gay for Favre in the joke. If I had a dollar for every negative comment I've heard regarding my sexuality from this bit, I'd have well over one hundred dollars.
I understand it, though. Homophobia is a weird thing. Sometimes when you hear something like this you might assume that I am gay and being lecherous toward Favre. Plenty of gay guys are, after all. The rub of this joke is that I appreciate Brett Favre for all he has done for me over the y
ears so much I would offer him my gay virginity. I really have nothing else to offer the guy that he can't get anywhere else. I'd be willing to abandon my sexuality to show my appreciation for the guy. I know it might make a few of you feel a little uncomfortable, but it is only a joke. I t

| I do have deletion power, but I thought this one should stay up. You advocate your position very well. Try and keep the homophobia out of it. People are people and some like to have sex with men. I generally find that less disagreeable than people who don't capitalize on proper names and after punctuation. |
