You think this is Progressive? Are you in 3rd grade? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Colour Haze make some of the most beautfiul, mesmerizing, HEAVY music on the Planet. This is REAL HEAVY, not E-Wiz.

the other stuff reminds me of early hawkwind without the spark of sheer lunacy and dancing naked chicks.
the wizard are way heavier without doubt, this song sounds like buckethead which is not a good thing.

The "wizard" are NOT heavier. I've seen both bands live several times, and E-Wiz put me to sleep. There are WAY heavier Modern Power Doom bands out there, E-Wiz is played out. Colour Haze are MUCH heavier, in an organic, triumphant way.

If you think this is progressive and sounds like "buckethead", then you've stumped a whole shitload of people. Stefan takes SHITS on some bum who calls himself "buckethead". pretty depressing you're even familiar with what "buckethead" sounds like.

hawkwind were originals, i never said they were prog, they were just an insane bunch of stoners that invented space rock and enjoyed being weird.
i've never seen the wizard live but "return trip" has to be one of the heaviest riffs EVER, it's drenched in tar. fuck buckethead, he's a clown. all these guys are short is a decent keyboard player and they'd be full blown german prog.

And there is NOTHING Progressive about Colour Haze. King Crimson's 'Lizzard' album is Progressive. The Mighty Colour Haze are one of Rock's most powerful forces. and by the way, Hawkwind were hacks. GONG = REAL Space Rock

yeah gong are cool, flying teapot is a classic song. what do you have against prog anyway? a lot of it is shite but that's true with every genre.
king crimson are a great example of quality prog rock. i don't get these guys, maybe i should do a few bong hits.

Colour Haze are just not Kraut. They may have some Kraut flavors, but they write simple, epic rock songs. If you pay close attention, each jam is 100% Organic. Each one is built from the ground up, and a simple solitary riff is built up to epic proportions. If you want to hear REAL Space Rock,
listen to GONG's album 'YOU'.

Why is everyone so set up by genres :O I'd call 'em a nice mix of psychedelic, stoner and even a lil bit of jazz. And space for sure, this band takes me freakin' places. But I'll check out BONG, too. ;)
