Most of the camp did not exist prior to the Nazis. It was just a small barracks outside of town. A barracks is nothing but a few building used to house soldiers. The vast majority of the camp did not exist prior to 1940

I have looked at The Auschwitz Museums website and there it only says that the germans took over i 1940, that
´s all, no pictures, no source.
