Updating the graphics card from the Dual SLI 8700mGT, to the Dual SLI 8800mGTX. The 8800mGTX has double the memory (512MB on each GPU - total 1GB) and double the bandwidth. It is approx 3 times more powerful then the 8700mGT. System Specs of unit in video: Dell XPS M1730 - Sapphire Blue Intel Co

You can Upgrade/Replace the Integrated Graphics card, Just Open it up see if you have any pci-E slots or anything if so upgrade, just disable the Integrated or onboard chip on the bios or so.

Yes thats correct for a desktop - but not for a notebook. With a notebook, if you buy integrated graphics, you cannot add a graphics chip later. The mainboard will be different for integrated graphics.

Great video! It just amazes me why you would want to spend so much money money on a gaming laptop when you can build a desktop with better performance for the the same price, can any one enlighten me?

Ok well, if you want to go nVidia lower budget an 9800GTX+ medium budget GTX 260 and top of budget a GTX 280 Each will give you a better FPS respectfully.
ATI Lower budget a 4850/3870 X2 medium budget a 4870 and top of budget a 4870 X2. Hope that helped, what are the other specs of your computer? ALex

No it cant. The graphics cards in the M1730 are completely different to the M1530. The M1530 has a single chip, whereas in the M1730 you have an entire card - similar to a desktop.
