This car got ran over by an 18wheeler in Waco on July 3rd on the side of I-35.
The peterbuilt struck at 1:30 in the morning, and made contact with the bug where the trailer begins. The wheel on the trailer broke off taking the hub with the wheel. The wheel was lodged into hte vw with hub attached, and the peterbuilt kept on truckin...
Luckily I wasnt in it...
This is my 1973 Standard Beetle. Supposedly it is a 1.9 litre but I havnt taken the heads off to read the numbers on them yet. The heads are large dual port valve heads. Dual port intakes, Weber IDF 2 barrel Carburetor, Stinger exhaust and headers. Empi Distributor, points, condensor, MSD 6AL, Dif
ferent Flywheel, cam of unknown size, 75 Amp Empi altenator, Empi short throw shifter, Empi Racing Clutch. Just cant decide what I want to do next. Its fast for a bug.
