Well he shows some pretty good athleticism, but Boston has had slam dunk champs before (Dee Brown, Gerald Green) and it didn't seem to do much good as far as being good players.
Hopefully Giddens can stay out of trouble and bar fights. He has some talent, but there's a reason he dropped this far. Hope he turns out ok.

Inspite of his off-court problems, this was a good pick. Boston doesn't have many player that can finish a fast transition play and he will be a good bench player in his first few years. Perhaps, if he proove he is worthy might start when our oldtimers retire.

i doubt he'll be another gerlad green. giddens played 4 yrs of college ball and can come in and contribute immediately. also from what i've read his work ethic shouldn't be a factor like gerald's was. i wonder how gerald's career would've turned out had he been on last years C's team and seen how hard KG works and what it takes to make it in the league. check out what big baby has been up to this summer. anyways im excited about giddens. he should get some minutes this year

HA, because he can dunk? Giddens plays ZERO defense, and when he gets on a cold streak (often), he is completely useless. And he has attitude issues. Hardly a guy to list next to Garnett, Pierce, and Allen. HA.
