Let's see how long would it take you to reply back at me, I assume the internet service in your country is as limited as your acknowledge when it comes to car makers. You are just making a fool of yourself by licking Toyotas balls. I am not saying they are not good cars, simply not the best. That is a category only kept for european cars, which no American or Japanese cars can compit against.

I Love Range Rovers and Jeeps, jeeps aren't as nice, rovers aren't very cheep but they are both equal in off road capability, for the most part. but Rovers for being so big and nice id get one over the jeep if i could afford it. BUT if it were a Jag or a Vett... CORVETTE IT IS!

I used to have to Range Rovers. The old one (1988) was great for the off road. Then I bought the newer one (2001) and it used to look nice (limousine on big wheels) and was good enough to go through the fields and light off road but nothing beyond. Pneumatic suspension was crap for the real off road. When I bought Mercedes Gelaendewagen I understood what does the real relyable off road car mean.

I own a 2006 range rover and I am a land rover fan, but in terms of reliability and quality the japanese cars are much better, but in terms of luxury and class no japanese car is at the same level of an european car.

I'd take a Jeep Grand Cherokee over this. The Jeep beats it in almost every off-road suv test that is done. It also costs less than half of the price of a Range, plus the Jeep is faster and more fuel efficent with the mds technology that chrysler omcporporated into the hemi engine's.

Jeeps are fine cars indeed.They probably offer better value for money.But Range Rovers offer understated British style,muscle in a Saville Row suit,and some people will pay for that.Simply put,who dreams of owning a Jeep?
If all cars were purchased on logic,we'd all drive small Toyotas.Fortunately,we aren't always logical.

I agree, but not I'm not for Land Rover/Range Rover being Stylish and pretty. It's a hardy ruggid beast build for offroad. It's amazing to me how people buy these trucks with no intention of ever taking them offroad and yet pay the extra 15-20 thousand for the offroading features. Many people dream of owning a Jeep, I also have a Jeep Grand Cherokee along with my 92 Range Rover and it's been a damn good truck. But nothing can compare to a Land Rovers capability offroad...

Great images of posh estate houses and silver candle holders. Look the Japanese copies of this vehicle simply cream these unreliable buckets of shit. These vehicles were groundbreaking 35 years ago but 35 years of appauling unreliability have killed the marque in Australia. I live in the North West.The Land Drover dealer in the town closed down.............say no more. My advice Dont even think about it. Toyota/Nissan

That's why it's so good. Apart from the rust/head gaskey problems, the Rangey has more class than EVERY othet 4x4, and in off-road terms, can deliver a pretty harsh backhander to about 75% of them too. It's a great all-rounder. Especially the Ford-developed ones.
