Nice information. I have a Line6 TonePort GX that I use as well as a Line6 Spider3 75 and was always thinking of getting a POD. I also have a Roland VG-99 but I am always looking around for other things to add to my collection of goodies. Thanks again for the information.

You are definitely correct. Through someone telling me (not from experience), I was told that modeling amps and processors do not work well together. Thank god I suck at guitar so as not to disturb others, I use headphones when plugged into my VG-99. Hell, I also use headphones using my Spider III as well :)

Yeah i cancelled the me-20 and i saved the last 4 days my ass off for 70
€ (same as $) more to get that crazy FloorPod Plus for $222. so actually i could order something similar to the PodXT at all, haha. can't wait to check it out on monday! :) (my first multiprocessor!)

I Own one for a couple of years now, has never been broken really good material, the effects are nice, the wah's sound cool whammy also, But if you want to use the amp effects dont! They sound awfull. But i recommand it if you search for a nice effect board.

I was in the same posistion as you not so long ago(instead of the UX8, the UX1) what i did was record everything through the UX1 and when and when it came to mixing and mastering i would switch over to me speakers. to change the audio output you got to: devices then click on device setup (something like that) and you should be able to change outputs. and depending on you soundcard (i myself had the e-mu emulator) you could plug your amp directly into the card using the phone socket
