I'll tell you why this song speaks to me. I came from an area similar to the area CWB and Haystak depict in this song. However I was really too young to remember and really naive, my parents tell me and things that went down, but I remember none of them. Now I'm middle class and I grew up in a safe town, no crime, dad has a really good job now and I cannot remember once when we had to worry about food or shelter. But I always wonder, if we stay in the slums, what it would've been like...
