| I don't have any gouache paint, I use white acrylic paint, is gouache paint better for highlights and such? Because my acrylic white paint is not usually that thick and it leaves it bumpy when you use it. |

| I feel that gouache is very good for highlights. Acrylic works too but it might be a hassle to prepare the paint. However, if the gouache is applied to thick, it might crack. |

| I found some at a university bookstore, they had them individually. If you go to special art shops around your town, you might be able to find them as they usually have racks with different brands and different types of paints (I'm talking about tube gouache as that is what I bought.) Of course, they might have a pot of it too but I've never seen any. Mebbe special order online somewhere? Anyhow, thanks, Luciole for the movies! |

| I've been reading the comments, and it's really weird not to find easyly the gouache, it's the most precise color on painting, I'd worked before with a lot of gouache brands(Rodin, Atl, winsor, Talens, Pelikan,etc...) but for sure the most i use it the most i prefer the Atl; Talens is too thick and expensive, Rodin too watery, Winsor is a very good one too but it's a little bit expensive. hope this be helpful.
