This is my third Unboxing video and this time its my first Digital SLR camera, the Nikon D40 and the Nikkor 18-55mm VR lens. It is a very good beginner/amateur DSLR, has tons of features and is very easy to use. The Help menu is a blessing to every beginner!!!
Sorry about my poor voice; after a hard day's work my energy meter was a bit low. I would really appreciate if you could limit your comments to the camera/lens.. Any positive or constructive criticism is also appreciated.

| i got mine recently and its a fantastic camera, its just the lack of ability to use anything other than afs lenses can get annoying, but really only if u already have non afs lenses |

| The Fact that it is a "G" lens has nothing to do with it. Every lens w/o a aperture ring is a "G" lens, even the kit lens is a "G" lens. The reason the d40(x) and d60, can't autofocus with non AF-S lenses, is because they have no focus motor in the camera body. AF-S lenses, use a motor that is built into the lens to focus, so they require to no motor in the body. |
