a board is mearly a platform to stand on. it doesnt make you go faster or handle going faster any beter from one company to the next. ive been longboarding for a while and all i have to say is choose a board you feel most confortable with. landyachts dont make you go any faster (or handle going any faster) than a loaded board. and loaded boards are no better for carving with. personally i ride boards that i make in my garage. DIY is a great way to go if you have the craftsmanship to make a board

i agree ive just understood that landyachtz are generally used more for racing and some of them are heavier than other boards and they're just built to get less speed wobble but i agree like i said deff whatever is most comfortable
