Sweet Charity was originally a 1966 Neil Simon musical (directed/choreographed by Bob Fosse) that was made into a 1969 film directed by Fosse and starring Shirley MacLaine. The film received three Oscar nominations and one Golden Globe nomination. Big Spender is a famous number from the musical and the film.

this is not right -- I don't think Fosse would have been pleased. among other problems, the piece should be performed (and originally was and is in the film as well) with stone cold faces. it's more fucked up and creepy that way. His style has been degraded to isolations, cheap humor, and "sexy" bodies
