wow, your aunt's project is great! I have a Quilting Group at school that I started. we make quilts and donate them to hospitals for newborns =)

Where I live we had the same impetus. However, this was ended due to an infant choking on some yarn, plus apparently there seems to be yarn allergy cropping up. Yarn allergy, believe it or not. What next.. I still think it's a great thing to do and you should be commended. And bless anyone trying to recycle and save our environment!
