prhases tend to be short and individual. The late classical and romantic concept of prhases has nothing to do with Bach playing, etc.

not really richter, is older, but gould become famous young , while richter became famous kinda late in life. plus richter for a while was only well known in russia. plus gould didnt hear richter playing at all until he went to russia. but by then he was like late 20's i think?
