Maybe she's a good pop star... I don't know pop music at all and I don't juge she as a pop star... But in this piece she sings Opera!!!! This aria is composed and sang by a tenore and not by a woman! She sings it in a incorrect way... If she's a pop star she should sing pop music, not this ridiculous

Well, here's the thing. Her career truly took off when she played Christine in the original West End production of Phantom Of The Opera. Andrew Lloyd Webber designed the role around this woman's incredible, rarely matched range. That's why any woman who plays Christine is limited to six performances (of eight) each week. Since then, she has been cross-trained in opera and has sung on stages around the world for such since.

Well, I've always loved certain things she has performed and didn't care much for others. This particular performance is "middle of the road" for me. I *LOVE* when she sings "Con Te Partiro" with Andrea Bocelli, but I *HATE* when she sings "Don't Cry For Me Argentina."
For me, it entirely depends on what she is singing. I don't think this was rubbish. It is definitely not on my list of favorites of hers, though. Either way, she's no Diana Damrau. :-) Diana is immortal.

I know she has a good voice, and Bocelli too has... But it's not a voice to sing Opera!!!

I think she has a good voice, and I have said that... Simply I think that this piece is shit, not music... It seems Anna Netrebko singing Casta Diva in Baden Baden... It's not for her... She has a great voice, I love her so much... but she could not sing everything.... I'm sorry but this is what I think!!!

Listen to her and Andrea perform opera in other pieces and then make a judgment that is more reasonable!I disagree with your harsh judgment!They are human and don't perform every piece with stunning perfection, nevertheless they are both artists that have garnered worthy praise for their talents and I certainly do appreciate their contribution to the world of music and as long as people demand to hear them perform and put down their hard earned money to hear it then that is all that matters!
