I'm from a supposedly quiet little town in Ireland. Around here i'm seen as "emo" because of how i dress and what music i listen to. Me and my friends have had horrible things shouted at us, and we've had bottles thrown at us in the streets. What did we do to these people to deserve this? Your guess is as good as mine. What's with all the hatred? Why is being different such a crime?

it makes me sick to -.- just cuz people dress how they dress doesnt mean their bad people and "normal" people think just cuz we r goth,punk,etc. they think we r bad people im goth/punk/industrial and im friends with gangsters,preps,etc.
people should get to know people before they judge or "hate" someone Sophie R.I.P. i wish the people who killed her got the same thing done to them stomp on their heads thats what they deserve to know how it feels v.v

man, people stoop to such fuckin lows. i think that what people really want to do is kill each other, so they try to find excuses to act like diseased ridden animals and kill, no matter how fucking inane they are. this shit has been going on ever since the dawn of time just with different people. people are fucked up beyond repair.this shit will keep happening and people will die, just for other bullshit reasons. we're no different than any other animal, we eat, we fuck, we kill, we die.

Are you talking about just the American media when you say that it's only "normal" people who the press seem to care about? Because over here I think they were appropriately sickened by what happened to Sophie and Rob and it got a lot of coverage on the news.

hey i think your right. I think the same way. I think thats is really messed up. Those guys shouldnt have beat dem up jus cuz the dressed a certain way dat is jus plain stupid. First off, can i just say the mask is cool!! Alright, I have in fact spoken out on this issue of ppl getting beat up for looking different as well, (if you wanna check out my video please do so) I am in fact a Goth and my bro and sis are Emos (my bro more so than my sis) and I agree with everything u sed in the video.
