Hurray it passed! Californians finally made the right choice, a cheaper choice than building more freeways and more airports.
I bet those skeptics against high-speed rail won't say the same when the first SF to Fresno link starts running in six years, the same amount of time we spent in the War in Iraq!

I find it amusing that you tried to argue a your perspective by opening with the word "like." In addition, no one here would discourage you, but rather encourage you to fix our schools. I'd suggest you stand by your country and your state. I'd suggest you embrace this new method of transportation. I'd suggest you watch this video with a new perspective and see how this will benefit every Californian.

I think you doubtful people who always look at the costs: in Germany we have built these high speed tracks for about 15 years now and spend around 60 billion, but we have 2000km high speed tracks here, now. Now compare these facts to your traditional car/flight infrastructure costs. Furthermore, about buying a ticket is expensive..

I can choose to drive to Berlin from Frankfurt where i live by car, that cost 100
€ two-way. Or i take the ICE, at least one hour faster and its 65€ two-way, if i order the tickets over the internet. If preordered, it can be even cheaper. Just for you all to know how "expensive" it is you doubtful people.
