When I was in highschool I was outcasted because I had long hair and listened to obscure rock/metal bands.
I still have long hair and listen to those same bands, but post-highschool people are typically a lot cooler then they were.

People still look at me, when I play AC/DC, Scorpions, Sabbath, Zeppelin, Alice Cooper, etc, and say, "you're a mom, teacher,a lady, and in your late '40's". I say"I'll rock till I die, and beyond!" Lol,it's alright.I've completely moved on,I pretty much take shit from nobody,even if I know my ass will get kicked.Nowadays people just act tough,most aren't so it's pretty easy if you know what I mean :P P.S.-Nowadays people don't really "mess" with you that much.They honestly,well for me at least,just rip on me.but,it's not that bad,just flick em off if anything and ignore em.:)

That girl with the Journey shirt n the beginning of the video (at .38 of the video)who gets pushed aside looks just like this girl who went to my high school (suburbs of Philly) in 1985. The girl always wore that same Journey shirt and made the same facial expresions.
