BC were not puppets ... ( 3 weeks ago by Dee25z)
BC were not puppets. He gives us free will and allows us to make decisions. We reap whatever the consequences for those decisions are-good or bad.We can either work according to His will or not.The decision is ours.THAT way if we choose to love him and serve him, its real, not forced. His word is very clear on how he feels about the shedding of innocent blood. He also speaks clearly on the repercussions of it for an individual
the nation that supports it.But again, the decision is ours to make.
A man rapes her. ... ( 3 weeks ago by Dee25z)
A man rapes her. She kills a child. you think what he did is more inhumane? she didnt deserve the rape. does the child deserve the death? BECAUSE she understands the violation of her life, she should fight for the life of the child all the more!!!
"He gives us free ... ( 3 weeks ago by Hooya2)
"He gives us free will and allows us to make decisions." Right--like he allowed the woman to make the decision to get raped, and the baby to make the decision to die. "BECAUSE she understands the violation of her life, she should fight for the life of the child all the more!!!" No, the child is as much a violation of her life as the rape was. Reposting your comment won't suddenly make it logical.
SHE didnt make the ... ( 3 weeks ago by Dee25z)
SHE didnt make the decision to get raped. The man who raped her did. The baby doesnt make the decision to die. The woman who signs up for the abortion does. We are given free will to make decisions and are held accountable for them.
"The man who raped ... ( 3 weeks ago by Hooya2)
"The man who raped her did." Exactly; by giving the man the ability to rape her, God restricted her ability to refuse to be raped. "We are given free will to make decisions and are held accountable for them." The woman's free will certainly didn't help her, did it?
God didnt restrict ... ( 3 weeks ago by Dee25z)
God didnt restrict anything. I dont know the circumstance of every woman raped. But I do know 2 things: my own circumstance
the love of God. In my circumstance, I know that I was warned several times in different ways re: a trip I was taking. I knew I wasnt supposed to go yet went anyway. God didnt punish me by being raped-but knowing who I was going to meet-he tried to prevent me from going at all.But I didnt listen. I made my own decision. It was returning to God and his will that healed me.

"I dont know the circumstance of every woman raped...In my circumstance, I know that I was warned several times in different ways re: a trip I was taking." Oh, I see; you're not willing to come out and say it outright, but in your mind you've already rationalized the clear failure in free will by assuming that every woman who was raped secretly chose it by defying God. How ridiculous will you become before you admit that God, by giving the man the ability to rape her, took away her free will?
Array ( 3 weeks ago by Dee25z)
Absolutely not
youre twisting my words. If I thought that, that would mean women who are raped deserve it
that is NOT true at all! I understand the devastation of rape. I know that Gods love heals. Thats what I said. I gave you MY circumstance. There are MANY others. We live in a world thats rejected God yet blame Him when things go wrong. At age 18 I had free will to leave home. If I walked out
killed someone it didnt mean my parents took that persons will when I was given mine.
"We...blame Him ... ( 3 weeks ago by Hooya2)
"We...blame Him when things go wrong." I'm not blaming God for the man's decision, I'm blaming him for sitting by and letting him rape the woman. Also, if murdering a child is a sin then God is as guilty for allowing it as the woman is for doing it. "If I walked out
killed someone it didnt mean my parents took that persons will..." What a pathetic analogy; your parents didn't have the ability to stop you from harming him, and if they did and didn't stop you then they're morally culpable.
Your 2nd statement ... ( 3 weeks ago by Dee25z)
Your 2nd statement answered the 1st FOR me:) I was hoping youd take the bait and you did. I appreciate that. God didnt "allow" it to happen any more than my parent's did If I killed someone. Your responses are starting to make me think you are really young. Keep searching for Truth. Blessings to you in life. Goodbye.
"God didnt "allow" ... ( 3 weeks ago by Hooya2)
"God didnt "allow" it to happen any more than my parent's did If I killed someone." God always knows when you are about to kill someone, and always has the ability to stop you, but doesn't. How can any rational person call that anything but "allowing" murder!?
er...well, i ... ( 3 weeks ago by arwenruthchick)
er...well, i haven't watched the video yet. i was reading this debate first...and i just wanted to say, in order for God to give us free will, He has to allow us to screw up sometimes (rape, murder, etc) even if it means affecting others around us. so really, by saying that you blame God for allowing it to happen, you blame God for offering us free will to choose our own actions. which would you rather have? free will or the inability to choose your own life? i think i'd rather have the former
"...saying that you ... ( 3 weeks ago by Hooya2)
"...saying that you blame God for allowing it to happen, you blame God for offering us free will to choose our own actions." No, that's clearly NOT what I'm saying; I'm blaming God for giving people who choose to hurt others the ability to follow through with hurting them. Why doesn't God simply allow people to CHOOSE to hurt others, and then stop them from doing it?
John McCain said, ... ( 3 weeks ago by ATLpirate)
John McCain said, and I quote, "It's not social issues I care about." Yep. If he was 100% pro-life why does he support experimentation on "surplus" embryos? If he was 100% pro-life, explain why he didn't support Ron Paul's Sanctity of Life Act in 2005 which would have made abortion unconstitutional? And what about his hampering of the right to life group in Wisconsin several years ago? Once again, "It's not social issues I care about." Stop fooling yourself. McCain is not our friend.
"THATS why im ... ( 3 weeks ago by ATLpirate)
"THATS why im voting McCain/Palin 2008!" You're wasting your vote.
i'll respond with ... ( 3 weeks ago by arwenruthchick)
i'll respond with an example. if someone decided to rob a bank, but then chickened out just before hand, did they really choose to rob the bank or not? it is only a choice if the action is carried through. don't get me wrong. i often get angry and don't understand why a perfect God can allow bad things to happen. the only explanation i have been able to come up with is that He loves us too much to infringe on our free will.
"if someone decided ... ( 3 weeks ago by Hooya2)
"if someone decided to rob a bank, but then chickened out just before hand, did they really choose to rob the bank or not?" According to Jesus, yes: Matthew 5:21-22, the man who has the intent has effectively committed the crime. Or are you not a Christian?
It seems like this ... ( 2 weeks ago by dumb14wanker)
It seems like this is more snuff/propaganda than education. I mean the way the camera goes in and the vulgarities are clearly of a pursuasive nature. And one could come back at me by saying it TRUE! buuuut thats not the point. My point is that this is merely another persuasion film disguised as education.

dude why are some people forced to be punished with a baby!?
a 14 year old gets raped and gets pregnant?
think -_-
dude, the "child" ... ( 2 weeks ago by virusdapimp)
dude, the "child" should just be taken out during the first month of pregnancy.
killing cells makes you feel better? Take in consideration also as man grows larger and larger in population, our resource decrease faster. I'm sorry, i may be just some stupid kid nosing in complicated things. but through my eyes, do as you wish. I dont believe a child should have the burden to have a child, then maybe die while giving birth.
why should a baby ... ( 2 weeks ago by l0rdkeithingt0n81)
why should a baby be punished
why should the girl ... ( 2 weeks ago by virusdapimp)
why should the girl be punished.
until you answer that, i dont want to hear why should the baby be punished as an answer.
cause at that rate we won't end up with an answer. I believe everyone has the right to his or his own decision. To "suffer" or not to,
Wow! So you think ... ( 1 week ago by simone56)
Wow! So you think you can magically undo the evil of the girl being raped by committing an equally heinous act of killing the child? It doesn't work that way...
