In these out-takes, Chaka brings the fire and brim during the chat session by setting the record straight a few times, talking about her reaction to hearing Ledisi for the very first time along with legendary session singer Penny Ford, her run-in with radio jock Steve Harvey and how Steven Spielberg came after her to star as Shug Avery in the movie version of 'The Color Purple.' LMAO! OMG, I never realized how funny Chaka Khan is until watching this video. I like what she said about Steve Harvey, "Nigga, I wasn't high!" LOL!!!! She looks like someone that's fun to hang around. I'm sad that she turned down the role of Shug Avery in "The Color Purple". She would've ROCKED that role! She'd probably earned an Oscar nomination, too. Shame.
