Thanks for posting this! I probably drove my parents crazy playing it too, on my little 45 record player. When I was a very little kid, I'd imitate the drums by putting the index and middle finger of my right hand above and below the edge of a table and moving them up and down to "play the drums" and hit the accent beats with my left index finger.

the drummer was 18 years old when he wrote this ,(he was the oldest member of the group) he was given a choice "come up with something for the B side of the record or you have to record what we pick" he wrote this in less then an hour, the rest is history

great,i remember when i was a kid,this was one of the first instrumentals i wanted to learn on my cheap acoustic guitar, i pulled out my strat tonight,wound up the reverb on my amp and surfed all night,i love american surf bands,they wipe out the shadows in england,sorry hank!.
