The Democratic party is destroying itself. They are becoming a party of blacks and far left whites. I knew there were a lot of black racists but I was not aware the vast majority were racist. Almost all blacks support Wright and that is bad news for the Democrats. Whites who are caught up in the concept will discover this if Obama becomes president. Joe Lieberman has already defected and is endorsing McCain. I think there will be others leaving. I hope Ferraro defects.

Verified1:Did mean to lecture but its silly to say professors and lecturers are one and the same. You would not want to be mistaken as just a lecturer. I would not hire Obama as his resume does not reflect loyalty, ever ready to go for the next big, selling out grandma, and his father too. Certainly you don't want someone with that kind of character trait would you?

kabaau, Guess it's not up to us what Univ of Chicago Law School calls its teachers. It doesn't matter to me in the end. My students' success matters to me, not my title. I'm very familiar with Obama's record
I don't see those qualities you describe; in fact, I see quite the opposite. I don't think he sold out any of his relations. I'm also part of a multiracial family, so I recognize the biases he had to overcome

I think Hillary hasn't shown us leadership much during this campaign she has run this campaign as a republican vs. a democrat. She goes so far as to praise a rebuplican rather than a fellow democrat who stands for basically the same ideas she has. That's not good for democrats to have to listen to the clintons talk as if Obama can't make a difference or that he doesn't matter he's won 30 states, that's more than half the country!! That's over McCain or Clinton! I think the point was well made!

Not in Obama. I just don't see him a leader, he is good at criticizing but not proposing ideas. You are a rare gem, professorship reflects hardwork, intelligence, and originality. It is no small feat to be tenured. Finkelstein had difficulties even with numerous publications. If he sold his grandma easily, I wonder how easy for him to sell his country when negotiating with other leaders! A preview: Canadian and Sam Powers gaffs. Verified: The threshold to be a professor is basically the same anywhere in this world, without significant publications and peer support one will stay assoc prof for many years. Either publish or perish is the mantra for I think all professors. Obama does not appeal to me, Clinton has her problems, McCain oh I don't know. But I just cannot see what others see in Obama. If BO is the nominee, I stay at home.

The polls show Barack Obama against John McCain 41% to Barack's 48% and Hillary Clinton against John McCain shows Hillary at 43% to John McCain 41%. Barack Obama would beat John McCain alot easier then Hillary Clinton. Look it up! Obama 08!

Those polls don't really mean anything yet. I think it would be closer between McCain and Obama because when people can't decide they usually vote for the one who they're familiar with, but it won't matter because if the voter turnout is anything like the primaries Democrats will turn out at a 2 to 1 ratio over Republicans and own the election.
