Michael Hartman, General Manager of the Tiamo Resort, on South Andos Island in the Bahamas talks about how the property is one of the most sustainable properties in the western hemisphere providing barefoot sophistication. It is all built by hand, solely powered by solar panels and uses composting toilets. It was built up from the ground with sustainability in mind. Hartman talks about how Tiamo is very much about fitting into the local culture and the environment.
