exactly, amg kills the damn M series.. amg is all hand built and my clk430 amg is dman near 5 years old with no problems and race car / office care reliable.. I killl those little m3's and the (00-o4 i believe, not the 500hp new m5's almost put up a challenge but i have a cam setup , free flow exhaust , and chip, so its not even a real race. but the beemers are cute, i bout one for my wife,lol.

yes misleading kramer, alot of people can get a corvette its not really an all time expensive car. Well for the American class i guess it is. Now what would u rather show up in a corvette or choose any European high end car? There's a reason American cars can't compete with European. When you buy Euro cars your paying for luxury, handling technology and probably the top leading transmissions and engine. What you paying for in a corvette besides speed?

When Mercedes builds an engine, they are giving you passion, precision and performance that only few others can rival...BMW to me is extremely over rated, Audi cant hang in the 100k mark, and VW just remains quiet and builds its models. The AMG crew stuffs huge engines in their cars and beats rival models out, how is that "bad" i see that as a great thing. Just because AMG products beat up on everybody doesnt mean people have the right to bash them. give respect where its due.

You cant really compare these two cars as the mercedes costs about 40 - 50 thousand dollars more than the BMW. So this is a bullshit comparison!!! They should compare the Benz with somethin like a 911 Turbo!!

control??? hey buddy, when your at a red light or on a straight away, your telling me your hand is faster then a computer doing the shifting? controlling the car around curves and bends, yes, but in a straight line, at a red light, id rather have an AMG tuned sport tranny or any other highly tuned tranny for that matter, no hand on this planet is faster then a computer shifting. period. And if this is a weak match between the 2 cars, then what would the M6 go up against?

this isn't a really fair comparison between the M6 and the CLK Black, since the CLK Black is similiar to a track car and the BMW isn't. They should've pitched the CLK against something like a Porsche 911 GT3 or Even a Ferrari F430 Scuderia or Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggra.

this is a very good test, despite what you all think about the M6 vs an SL kind of test... Once the SL black edition (which is almost in show rooms now) comes out there will be little the M6 could do to stop it if the CLK (which is MB's mid-line car) stomped on the M6. I'm sure that this CLK could do a world of hurt to a Lambo, or Ferrari as well. the CLK Black is one car i would be proud to own and sport around anyday!
