I made this for Sarah ^_^ Because she's so nice, and amazing, and is my friend, and is just pretty much awesome :D And so is her horse!!
Her horse, May, was born in 2000, in the month of May. She was trained to drive and pretty much be a show Morgan horse. When she was three years old, she one the state championship in Park Pleasure Driving, and then was left out to pasture. At the time, Sarah had been taking lessons. Sarah started
looking for a horse, bought May, and found that May was a complete fear-a-holic. May would run from everything, going absolutely bonkers on a regular basis. Sarah ended up riding may in a twisted wire pelham. Sarah eventually grew sick of everything. She turned to the Parelli program, and the rest
(as they say) is history :D Song is Lullabye for a Stormy Night by Vienna Teng (I think?)

Yeah, I basically wanted to cry watching this...I wanted to cry SO bad. The singer's voice is so sweet and nice to listen to, and the lyrics are perfect for a RB extrovert.
I can't thank you enough...this video is just so full of win.

*sigh* I wish I could start Parelli with the mare I handle, but Parelli packages are like $200 each, and everything else isn't any better.

Well, I've got good news for you :D Pat Parelli had a book out called 'Natural Horsemanship' which is basically Level 1 with all the frills scraped off. Also, there's a book by Tom Dorrance called 'True Horsemanship through Feel' (Tom was one of Pat's teachers) that you might want to look into. You can purchase both of these at most book stores, and if you have any questions, you can drop me a message :D

Might I also add that you can usually purchase the old level 1 at a VERY cheap price off of Ebay, which is also something to look into. In level 1, the equiptment isn't absolutely nessiccary (I went through my entire level 1 without the equiptment)
