Tigloon your post is part of the problem we have today. Yes we did treat the Native Americans wrong, yes we did the things you claim. BUT that was many many years before any of us were even a thought. Today we need to be men, brothers, Americans and put these thoughts behind us and look to the future to right what we can as we can. Along time ago I read a sang of one of the native tribes " the world was not given to you, but loaned to you from your children". We are now the Children.

i love this song!
grew up listening to it and it will always be my favourite. i remember having to do a big project on native americans. could choose a tribe to write about. really just remember writin about the sioux tribe and Sitting Bull with this song playing in the background. It hurts that people wiped out tribes such as Sioux Cheyenne an many more. so beautiful.

Very beautiful video. I love how the traditional Native Americans carried their babies so much. I wish we would produce more Sacagawea dollar coins. She is so inspiring. My husband carries the HLA B27 gene. I'm thinking that is likely because his mother was Micmac. It seems that many Native Americans carry this gene from surviving Smallpox.
