Nice job Newt. ... ( 7 months ago by overmind25)
Nice job Newt. Hopefully we can get rid of AA action soon in the coming generations. Maybe we can have a system of aid to people based on their grades and income to get into college on scholarships instead of race only. It is clearly becoming an outdating system.

Gingrich gets kudos from me here!!! It's so easy to forget we had a racially segregated America only 40 years ago. Some may argue we still do, but the difference is that we no longer accept that staus quo and have been striving to get away from that type of mindset. I appreciate Gingrich reminding us of what we should get away from.

Still trying to use race, huh? Come on Newt, I used to love you man. I thought you were one of us but you are not!
Please, Professor History, tell us how the 14th. Amendment enslaved us all and really freed no one. Tell us about the term "VASSAL". Talk to us about, about the corporation called "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA INC." /watch?v=X6b4YrXayzE also google: Arizona State Senator Wayne Stump Explains 14th

Obama is change that we don't know what is about. He is a socialist and even his wife continually gives comments showing their true colors.
The change Obama ... ( 7 months ago by vallejoelgrande)
The change Obama proposes is about the People of the United States of America taking government back from the corporations, the way the founders wanted. The Constitution ring a bell?
Obama wants the ... ( 7 months ago by lion575)
Obama wants the government to take over corporations ... he wants banks to be run by the government, and all loans to be through the US gov. That is not what our founders wanted ... that is what Stalin wanted.
When did he say ... ( 7 months ago by vallejoelgrande)
When did he say this? He would not and could not do that even if he wanted. You've been beguiled by all the fearmongering that's been taking place in the last eight years. Go to his website, read about his policies, watch his speeches, get informed! Corporations are good at creating jobs and should have a say in creating economic policy but not more than the rest of the American people and their elected or designated representatives. We fear no more and are taking Washington back. I hope

Both Obama and ... ( 7 months ago by lion575)
Both Obama and Hillary suggested this as their solution to the mortgage/credit crisis, and yes it is easily doable ... a lot of companies are buying mortgage debt at a reduced price, their is nothing preventing the US government from doing the same and then imposing such ridiculous regulations and monopolizing the industry. I am very informed and Obama's lack of mathematical and economic understanding scares the hell out of me.
I see you have a ... ( 7 months ago by vallejoelgrande)
I see you have a very active imagination but were somehow unable to imagine our current financial plight was going to happen as the result of lack of regulation and letting the corporations dictate law-of-the-jungle free-market econonomic policy. What should scare you is our reality and accept that your fatalistic imagination has failed you miserably in the past.

Right! You prefer the feds and the states taking your money to build prisons. As a matter of fact, that's the main difference between Republicans and Democrats. The Republican approach to government is reactive (building more prisons instead of creating better schools) while the Democrats strive to be proactive and value investing in better better education and health systems.

no, more like the dems keep putting money into failing education systems and are beholden to teachers unions who refuse any significant attempts at reform at the expense of the students. or how nany and barry want to collectivize healthcare in america. i'm a libertarian, and i have my own problems with the RNC, but the Dems, post 2004, have become nothing but quasi marxist class warriors. i pick the lesser of 2 evils.
OK, so public ... ( 7 months ago by vallejoelgrande)
OK, so public schools and hospitals will never get better because Democrats, teachers and healthcare workers don't know how to accomplish that, so it's better to do less or nothing and spend a lot more money locking the same kids that we didn't care to educate well before and treating illnesses that coul've been prevented. I hear ya! That's quite a plan! As a matter of fact, I have a name for it: The Katrina approach to education and healthcare.

I used to be for Obama, but I realized America is just crap at being socialists. There are never checks and balances with our spending. Special interest groups run our government and our tax money seems to go to a bottomless pit. Europeans seem to actually get quality services with their taxes and I just don't see it ever happening here.

come on professor, the enlightened are awaiting your response! Come on Newt, talks to us about Senator Wayne Stump and the 14th. Talk to us about the loss of our Sovereign State (C)itizenship vs. US (c)itizenship we now enjoy.

All countries are crap at being Socialist, because Socialism is crap. However, crap aside, if America seems to you to be not as good as let's say as Sweden is at big government--I suggest you consider the FACT that America has a larger influx of illegal immigration than all of Europe combined.
