She's honest. Unlike Obama.

Not if you look at her record, she's not. I'm not trying to defend Obama, but comparing her to Jefferson Smith is just a joke.
I met Jimmy Stewart ... ( 2 months ago by TELEVISIONARCHIVES)
I met Jimmy Stewart at the Grand Opening of Universal Studios Florida in 1990. He was just as nice of a man as you would expect him to be.

I don't know what Movie I like more, This or It's a wonderful life.
This movie is " ... ( 1 month ago by 17865329)
This movie is "dated right wing
crap" is it. If you take all the fish in
the sea, and all the tea in china, multiply
it by a million and divide it by zero, we
arrive at your IQ!
Gee, I'll take ... ( 1 month ago by 17865329)
Gee, I'll take James Stewart and
Frank Capra's contribution to society over
yours 7 days a week and twice on Sunday.
Notice how I don't need to resort to swearing,
as I don't have the negligible IQ I referred
to you having, which you undoubtedly do have.
The movie's actually against big business,
corporations and corruption in goverment,
ya horse's flank.
Oh and by the way, ... ( 1 month ago by 17865329)
Oh and by the way, I hardly think that
all the bus boys being black in 1939 was
perpetrated by Jimmy Stewart and Frank Capra.

Gonna go out on a limb and say they
fought in WWII, not Vietnam. Wow, have

1)Bussing at restaurants is perfectly honorable work, JR/HC. I haven't done it myself, but I've been even lower on the rung,as it were, than that, having,at times, washed dishes for a living.Work is work--speaking of which, why don't YOU get a frickin' job? You waiting for a glorious Marxist regime to be ushered in so you can maybe make a wage with little to no physical exertion?(2)Stewart didn't serve in 'Nam; ergo, he didn't "rain fire on villages." What's next--was he the Grassy Knoll shooter?
Oh by the way, ... ( 1 month ago by 17865329)
Oh by the way, Bandelero, Spirit of St.Louis, Harvey, Rope, Philadelphia Story, Winchester 73,
OBVIOUSLY, all right wing crap.(LOL) Just
like having children, there is no IQ test
to pass for posting on the internet unfortunately. If so, this guy wouldn't have
a You Tube account.
Well, maybe ... ( 1 month ago by 17865329)
Well, maybe Bandelero was crap, but
nice reviews of the rest. Oh, when these
guys fought in WWII, could you hazard a guess
as to who they fought AGAINST???Would
that maybe have been the Nazis?? What a waste
of time this is.
Nah, Bandolero was ... ( 1 month ago by vinidici)
Nah, Bandolero was fun and entertaining, never intended to be taken seriously--but only "crap" to JR. I mean, Jimmy Stewart and Dean Martin: Brothers??? Come ON! 178, just take it for the amusing romp it is and don't concede any points to JR that are less than fair, truthful, or an obvious sign of his personal biases and agenda of hate.

Thought I'd throw the dog a bone. What
the heck. I don't really want to play
anymore, it's not much of a challenge.
I'd never seen this ... ( 1 month ago by mnmcv1)
I'd never seen this film until this past weekend. I love Capra movies (Mr Deeds Goes to Town, You Can't Take it With You, Meet John Doe, It's a Wonderful Life). They were about the common decency of man, and the difference a few or even one can make. I was actually bawling during this scene. Unimaginable odds, and he wouldn't stop. When he says "well I'm NOT LICKED!"...wow...
and I love Jean Arthur, too. Has anyone noticed Capra used MANY of the same actors in multiple films?

This was actually a pretty good movie for being an oldie in grayscale. I enjoyed it. I just watched it several days ago and I have to say the acting was great. James Stewart is an amazing actor (or was... I'm not sure if he's dead or not...)

mnmcv1, it's always been a common practice in Hollywood for directors to use their stock of actors in most of their pictures. D.W. Griffith and John Ford it. Heck, even today Ron Howard has his kid brother Clint in nearly all of his movies!
