Playing with the bears in the nursery in Wolong. The bears are 8-9 months of age and as you can see are huge! The shrieks are my translator who it transpires is scared of them :)

| If you make a donation for the panda bears they will let you in. You can also pay a lesser amount and just have your photo taken with one outside. All monies go towards maintaining the center and anyone with $ can go in as long as they are healthy without an illness. |

| You're welcome. Remember there are two areas in/ around Chengdu wher eyou can see the bears. One just outside Chengdu and then the Woolong nature reserve (a few hours drive). Go to the reserve its much nicer. They also have a panda club, annual membership is around $100 I forget, but you get updates on the bears etc. Only problem is that when I was there the nly option was to have the updates in Chinese - and as I dont speak Chinese it woldnt be very helpful for me! |

| the most adorable thing on the face of the earth. dude, your my hero. I asked my dad if we could go to DC to see Tai shan. we might but I might just go see Su Lin since I'm going to SF anyway. I went nuts when he said we were, "Jason! AHH!!! *hides under table" were my dads words and actions. hehehe. |
