Eddie even admitted he took the idea from Jimmy Pages Heartbreaker solo, so that pisses on your bonfire somewhat!! Twat!! And all lead singers looked the same then too!! You're an idiot....yes, Jimmy Page tapped a little, but Eddie made it into a jaw-dropping art form! When he tapped, people became hypnotized.....Page could never do that. Eddie had great tone. Dont be saying Roth is the same as lame assholes like Vince Neil or Axl Rose.....Dave could launch 10-foot split jumps off drum risers - I'd like to see weak fags like Neil

Hey look...I'm just sick and tired of so many people not recognizing that Roth-era Van Halen is the greatest rock band that ever existed! Sure I love bands like White Lion and Guns 'N Roses, but Van Halen single-handedly saved rock 'n roll in the late 70's when disco and punk music were ruling the scene....and Roth and Eddie are simply untouchable in their talents and abilities - they are above comparison to all other rock bands....classic Van Halen needs to get it's due respect it so deserves.

I'd say that vito is eddie van halen's more melodic counterpart :D Eddie Van Halen was more about bass-ass rock n' roll (with roth anyway) and Vito's playing had more emphasis with melody and harmony and it shows in there songs.
