Most of this looks much like a Shamanic dance. Like a rain dance, for summoning spirits, or for good fortune for a full harvest, etc. That type of stuff. But who knows.

don't be so snotty. like the previous posters pointed out, tribes around the world dance like that. its a sort of ritual. and it obviously was intended to look like a ceremonial dance, and not a $5000 swan lake ballet or a missy elliot music video.
