Start of Canadian GP in 1998

Video Description:
The first start featured nice roll by Wurz and Ralf had some problems with his car, so the race was red-flagged.
At restart Häkkinen was slow away and retired. In 2nd corner there was little chaos and Trulli got on top of Alesi. No restart this time but safety car was deployed. Commentary by Murray Walker and Derek Warwick.

if that was today wurz would have taken the leaders out as the gravel slowed him down but now theres tarmac meaning he wouldn't have stopped until he either hit a car or the barrier on the other side of the track

there was still more drama in this race - the safety car came out twice more when first diniz had a big off and then salo and herbert tangled, frentzen spun off trying to avoid michael schumacher as he emerged from a pit stop, villeneuve ploughed off seconds after taking the lead, and schumacher got a stop-go penalty for the incident with frentzen, but came back to win.
