About PADRE ENGO
At the end of every World Age a Dark Shamanic Warrior (Mahdi) dances with his primeval ancestors in the 4 Winds of Fate and purifies the entire planet with astral fire and brimstone. This black messianic mission belongs to only one very brave and creative soul. His name is Padre Engo the Last Divine Messenger. He is the Moorish magus and Palo Mayombe high priest who chooses at this time to wear the mask of a musician. Like Robert Johnson and Jimi Hendrix, Padre Engo is a gifted Voodoo Child from the other side of the Kalunga Line. He is the voice of the modern Bantu Outlaw and student of Dark Moorish Science and 21st Century Black Nationalism. Like the dreaded leaders of the Haitian Bizango and Makaya Cults, Padre Engo plots spiritual and cultural revolution with the help of the Darkside. His music is a very potent wanga. This digital voodoo spell has the power to lift the Veils of Nature and raise millions of Black and Latino zombies from the stupors of the alluring West. Padre revives with experimental music and film all the infernal rules and rituals practiced by the militant African and Native American animists that opposed oppression in the so-called New World. His hypnotic dance music spans the entire African diaspora with the underlying spirit of the Palo Kongo Mystery Religion that came about as a result of enslaved Black Portuguese exiles (Andalusian Black Jews and Black Muslims) from Central Africa seeking refuge in the Black Moorish communities that existed in all parts of the Western Hemisphere 900 hundred years before the trans-Atlantic slave trade. Bringing forth a torrential rain of words, Padre Engo calls on fire, water, earth and sky to help him deliver his apocalyptic message and curse the Christian West. This is music that was made to spread a particular current of thought. Padre Engo is the Prophet of New Black Medieval Era, a sacred cycle of time that coincides with what the West African mystics of ancient Mexico described in their shamanic traditions and myths as the New World Age that begins in 2012. The pre-Columbian Moorish and Black Indian Spirit Actions that animate Padre Engo's Cuadro Espiritual have shown him aspects of the world after 2012. Like the West African griots and gifted blues singers of old time, Padre's musical sermons are a record of the past, present, and future. Only small group of people will be in a position to really appreciate his revolutionary message because what is about to be heard is something that is without a doubt way ahead of its time. Nevertheless, many are destined to dance for decades to his interpretations of the Bantu-inspired musical tradition that has its roots firmly planted in the Black Moorish culture that existed on the islands of Cuba and Haiti long before the advent of the trans-Atlantic slave trade. Also, Padre Engo is a blend of many musical styles. He is Afro-beat, Latin rock, funk, dub, trip-hop, apocalyptic folk, blues and underground hip-hop and shake. Just try and imagine Ali Farka Toure, Robert Johnson, Bob Marley, Carlos Santana, Grace Jones, Peter Gabriel, Manu Chao, Dead Can Dance, Tricky and Current 93 all wrapped into one package. Padre is all these things and a lot more. His music is black magick. He came to make the Christian West dance while he cracks his Whip of Fire and Lightning bolts. His lyrics are imaginative along with the tracks. You not only dance to the music, but also meet the angry Indian Tribes that made diabolical pacts and treaties with the Changani Ntoto line of Santo Cristo Buen Viaje. Dead black Moorish Arawaks, Tainos, Aztecs and Cherokees possess the dance floor while you sweat. At the End of Time, this is the place where the living and the dead dance to the whip and the drum. Yamboaki Spirits are dancing and singing along with you as you indulge in these hot, funky spiritual grooves. You can go on Shamanic Journeys to the past and the future all at once. Instead of trying to take the Children of Kalunga Ndoki back to an Africa that no longer exist, this remarkable roots and culture singer heats up the tribal blood that flows across the Black Diaspora. Padre's congas, cowbells, shakers, funky basslines, Latin guitars and phantasmagoric lyrics help us channel while we dance the lost ancestral wisdom that lies dreaming in the heart of the Americas.

I like Padre Engo's music and agree with him in part, the Christianity should meet its ruin. However, I don't like that Engo has so much anti-white lyrics in his music. Engo is a mix of Palo and Thelema and I don't see any race issues in either of these. Hopefully, Padre Engo will come to realize that the problem of racism and the problems facing those who share these or similar magic traditions are seperate. I'm white Engo, but I will still keep listening.
