| The family car was a '70 Plymouth Valiant with the slant six, then a '76 Toyota Corolla. AM radio had all the good stuff, including real DJ's with real personalities. In the frozen north, I could pull in stations from all over: KSTP, KCLD, CKRC, KOMA, KAAY, WLS. "Boogy check, boogy check, ooh, ah! Are you talking to me?" Yeah, fun times. |

| Yes this song gives me goosebumps too. It's a haunting melody that has lingered in the back of my brain since I was a kid in the 70's. As an adult it makes me think of space too so I play it a lot when I'm reading about anything related to astronomy or cosmology. Also makes me think of the end of the universe for some reason. |
