what wade does however is, when he picks up his dribble and plants his foot, he begins his spin (like normal) but right as he begins his spin, he hops. he hops off that foot very quickly, then when that foot lands, he spins around and takes the 2 steps. that hop is where wade travels. it happens in less than a quarter of a second, so its not very noticeable AT ALL. the only real way to notice it is to watch one of the super slow replays on ABC 7 games.

practically everyone in the nba travels or carries....its just that they never call it. and yes folks, wade travels but he does it so damn quickly, its nearly impossible for the refs to call it......not only that, the refs are probably distracted and thinking "what a play by wade!!!!!!" after wade does his circus shots almost always after the spin move.

The fact is that it is a travel. And this is coming from a fan. I like the way he plays the game. But if this league is going to go back to what it was they need to start calling it. Because the truth is the hop off his plant leg is completely unecessary and I think he could still get the shot off w/o doing it.

thats a freakin travel. In the other videos its less subtle but this one was obvious. It's common sense, if you hop with the same foot you better shoot. But in his case he takes extra steps after that initial hop before the spin

i agree with aliensexfiend...most nba players travel on a power hop or spin move...just because d wade does it more times than other players so people are saying him travelling..in nba that type of spin move is NOT considered a foul...even kobe does that..it is the nba's fault not the player's fault
