Lou is right for many more reasons than he knows. This economic model can not continue to function.
eg.The GDP needs redifining. The GDP is merely a gross tally of the products and services bought and sold, with no distinctions between transactions that add to well being, and those that deminish it.
Then there is the problem with the "externalities". It says that the oceans and the atmosphere are external to the economy and there fore don't matter.
This model also ignores finiteness.
