German test driver Tim Schrick tests the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 for the car show "D-Motor". He accelerates a Corvette Z06 from standstill to 280 kph in 4th gear. They actually copied this from Top Gear, but it still is impressive to see.

I don't see the 911 Turbo anywhere in your list. What exactly is it you're trying to illustrate? On another note, I find it funny that the Skyline and Corvette are the only cars in that list that are less than six figures in price.

Clarkson I think actually did 4th as the revs for 5th (calculated through gearing) dont quite add up with the ones he had on the dials, unless his example had different tyres or something i guess.
