thanks man, the kit with stock motor is 100 bucks, then add 3 servos and radio equipment, if you have some stuff already pretty quick and cheap model. Hobby stores that stock rc airplanes and of course ebay and online hobby shops.

what is the difference between a brushed and brushless motor ?????

Brushed motor actually scrapes brushes along the magnets to spin the shaft of the motor, where brushless are much more efficient, cost a bit more, and take 3 wire leads instead of 2, almost like 3 phase power. Just search it out on wikepedia if you need more explanation

Ah.. Wiki has a good explanation. The DC from the battery is converted through an electronic speed controller (some would probably call an inverter) into three phase AC power. No brushes to wear out, better cooling, sealed motor, more powerful, etc. are the advantages of "brushless" motors. In industry, DC brushed motors have the ability to make more torque at low speeds than AC motors.
