Seriously, Omid45, I'm reading more and more of your comments, and you just sound so stupid, I'm sorry. What makes you so sure of anything? Tell me what proof is there that says God doesn't exist? There is none, and you can't call yourself a man of science if you believe whatever you have qualifies as proof. It's moronic to assume, especially when many many people in the scientific community disagree with you, and remain devout. We agnostics don't believe there is NO God either, btw.

No it's not. Think of it this way. Time is not infinite, at all. It cannot be, otherwise there would've been an infinite amount of time before this moment, and we would never have arrived TO this moment. Matter, energy, and space cannot exist without change, which is time. So naturally NOTHING had to exist before that. But that's impossible, because how did we come to be? So what created us obviously had to be omnipotent, to defy nature and CREATE matter, and TIMELESS... aka, God.

These are the ultimately unfalsifiable mysteries we come to face. We can see nothing beyond the observable universe, we will never reach the edges of the universe, until it collapses on itself, of course. But the odds of creating the universe to have the ability to sustain life at all has been seen as extremely improbable. If gravitational force was different, at all, we would either collapse or expand to point of making life impossible. Before the universe, natural law didn't exist. Sooo?

It's just surprising how atheists take our idea of "chance" and can only see it within the realm of the physical. They assume we mean the creation of life was by chance within the physical. No, we mean the creation of the PHYSICAL and its ability to sustain life is "chance," a really really improbable chance. I remember it being 1x10^10 to 1? I don't know, but it's pretty fucking low. To assume it was chance is really far-fetched, if not impossible. But I remain open to its possibility. Agnostic

I'm afraid you are definately confused...and being agnostic does mean being opened minded. but opened minded to the ideas of what is real and not real about religion, not being opened minded about stupid comments. Sorry, your not able to comprehend this, it must be over your head...either that or your another one of those bible thumpers who think anyone who doesn't believe in what you believe in is going to hell.

I'm very open minded to new things, but-
I totally get your point of view on God, u want proof, the proof is all around us, but hey, we all have different beliefs. I'm a strong Chrtistian,
love my religion.

you only say there is a god because you have been raised and conditioned to believe there is a god. And I have already heard the christian "proof" of god being real. But quite frankly that "proof" has no hard real verifiable evidence. It's based on faith, and assumptions, and I'm sorry but faith, and assumptions do not prove there is a god.
And agnostics don't not beleiev in nothing, they believe in the truth, whatever that may be...we believe in continuing to search for it and not be blind.

thank you so much. im tired of people saying agnostics are merely atheists under a diffrent alias. i have been searching for answeres for 6 years now.
everytime i find eveidence of god, something puts it down. everytime i find proof of atheism, something puts it down.... its a continuing process, i have finally decided to just live a good life. if i die and god is standing in front of me, ill accept him. if not, oh well. i lived a good life. T

there are several types of agnosticism. most common is "Strong Agnosticism" and "Weak Agnosticism".
a *Strong Agnostic* would look at you and say "You cant prove there is a god, and neither can I!" where as a *Weak Agnostic* would say "I am not sure if there is a god or not, but maybe after we get some more evidence we can figure something out" im still searching for the truth. 6 years, why st
