Acually I've got one TTX at home. Can say that it is working just as fine as a Technics. Beside the engine inside is better on the Numark, mutch stronger, can spin a frikking trailer arround.

Ha Ha Technics are crap, really what do you get with them? you pay high dollar for something that just spins a record. TTX's have a lot more features, I am to lazy to list them but I just sold my Technics and got a set of TTX's... Technics used to be the shit in the '70s '80s and '90s but this is the new millennium and TTX's are the shit fill adjustable and asewome built in features..

Loto of plastic shit, crappy arm etc. Wnad answer Yourself - You use lot of features in the turntable? I don't, so I don't want to have mega torque engine for onanists, I don't want pitch 50% and I don't want toy made in china :))) Technics is best of the turntables in the world, made in japan, high quality!! You loose Your money hahahahaha

The TTX is built just as good if not better then a Technics table, do you think a metal or plastic face matters? I think not as the faces dont do anything. ya as I mix music and like to get creative so I do use the pitch more then 8% and it is nice to have they key lock, I also like the reverse feature. Oh boohoo it has a straight arm which can be switched to a technics style arm no problem.

I think you just need to open your eyes are realize that Technics really arent all that anymore sure since they really are very limited in what they can and cant do. For the Technics to compete with the TTX they need a $1000-$2000 mixer and for a technics with some of the same features it is about $1000 for just 1 table which is mainly they price of the name.

Lets hear why you think Technics are so great, but you cannot use: Because it is metal, because it is made in Japan because those arent real reasons... I forgot another reason I like the TTX's more they have a rubber padded platter so every time you touch the record it doesnt go boom...

I don't know much about the ttx but my technics is indestructable, i bought it second hand for 300 euro's (350 dollars or something) and I love it! Someone threw a water balloon on my technics but it's still working, it is the strongest table on the market! And it's not expensive, you can buy it mnost of the time second hand without a problem

Technics just can't compete with my ttx's. I had the 1210s MK5 and sold them. I currently have ttx's now and they are easily soo much better in every way. Technics are just stupidly overpriced and get very little for your money.

well ive used technics and I wasnt inpressed, they are expensive but that wasnt why, the motors are just too weak.pathetically weak actually, Ive got numrak tt500s,had them for 2.5 years and they are fine.strong motor, stable, good build quality. Ppl jus think technics are the best, bit like guitars, oh fender or gibson are the best, no.thats a matter of opinion.Its just what you prefer.tt500's with pmc05mk3

Dont get me wrong Im not hatin on the TTX, but have any of you people who insist that it is so much better than a 1200 seen any of your favorite dj's or any well known dj use them? Im thinkin no....9 out 10 use nothing less than a Technic 1200. Go ahead and marinate in that-ask yourself why...

Alot of my favourite DJ's use Vestax (Qbert, MMM, D-styles), and having just bought one very cheap second hand (
£100) I now know why, the are just as well built and the motor is as strong if not stronger than a technics. I also own technics mk2 and mk5's and I love them all, the Vestax has more features which is tempting when technics and vestax are almost the same price. Stop your bickering and all the Tech
nics owners get off your high horse - Vestax is almost as popular amongst turntablists.

I also gotta say technics aren't really making any developments in their turntable range either, no new features like ultra-pitch, reverse or brake / start up speed. Don't get me wrong, the simplicity in a technics is good, and may be thats what they are going for and I still love them to death, but it may lose them some brownie points when Vestax is releasing decks like the Controller one...

look at it like this. Most relly good dj's out there use the Technics because it's what you grew up on. It's a good deck, but the new wave of dj's is migrating toward the TTX thanks to all of it's features. Most of my boys have the TTX because when dj'ing house/DNB the key lock becomes your best friend. Yeah sure Numark needs to fix that damn platter sensor but nothing some soldering didn't fix. I swear by Numark.
