Way too many people give Roger all the credit, do you all really believe he "wrote" all the wicked solos David Gilmour plays? I saw Waters in '99 and he completely SUCKED! Pink Floyd's A Momentary Lapse of Reason and The Division Bell are far superior to any solo shit Waters ever did.

that depend. The issue is the alineation Gilmour-Mason-Wright could be greater than the Orignal Pink Floyd (with Waters), and the answer is maybe yes, but the abscence of waters is in my opinion very sad.

I saw his Dark Side of the Moon this past tour and it ROCKED. Nothign Better. Great Music. Great Lyrics. Great Show. Great Backup Vocals. GREAT MESSAGE.

I went to the concert in LA. It was awesome! Everyone was singing along and happy (mostly because they were high/stoned). It was really an experience! One of the best!!!!

roger waters didn't write as much of the pre-Dark side material, which is still awesome. Also Waters I don't think wrote many of the guitar solos....rather he wrote the chord progressions for the most part, all the lyrics. But the unison of thier divergent styles in Dark Side is what made PF. Not Any single member.

I agree mostly but the vision of Waters is what made PF extraordinary. Think of the albums of the band after the departure of Roger. They are average with good guitar sound only.

dont know about that lol syd barret set a goal for pink floyd which roger followed later in writing songs and singing. Without Syd or Gilmour there would of never been any pink floyd
